This policy explains what personal data Housess Real Estate collects through this website, why, and what you can do about it. It applies to the website only; data handled in a brokerage transaction is governed by the agreement for that transaction.

What we collect

• What you send us. Name, phone number, email address and the details of your enquiry when you use a form, call, message us on WhatsApp or email us.
• How the site is used. Pages visited, the device and browser used, and the approximate location derived from your IP address, collected through analytics cookies if you accept them.
• Nothing else. We do not collect payment details through this website, and we do not buy data about you from third parties.

Why we use it

• To answer your enquiry and, if you ask us to, to arrange viewings, valuations or a service.
• To carry out the checks the Dubai Land Department and UAE anti-money-laundering rules require of a brokerage before a transaction.
• To understand how the website is used so we can improve it.
• To send you property updates, but only if you have asked for them. Every message includes a way to stop.

Who we share it with

Our consultants and staff who need it to handle your enquiry; the service providers that host this website, run our email and analytics, and store our client records; and public authorities where the law requires it. We do not sell personal data.

How long we keep it

Enquiry data is kept for as long as we are dealing with you and for a reasonable period after, so we can pick up where we left off. Records connected to a transaction are kept for the period the Dubai Land Department and anti-money-laundering rules require, currently at least five years.

Cookies

The site uses cookies that are necessary for it to work, and analytics cookies that are set only with your consent. You can withdraw consent at any time through your browser settings; the site still works without them.

Your rights

Under UAE Federal Decree-Law 45 of 2021 on personal data protection you can ask what data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and object to marketing. To do any of these, contact us using the details on the contact page. We will respond within 30 days.

Property listings

The listings on this site are published by Housess under Dubai Land Department advertising permits. They contain no personal data about buyers, sellers, landlords or tenants.

We will update this page if our practices change. The date at the top of the page is the date of the current version.
